Yip, I was taking a walk round GDS marina one day, they were doing a refurb on the submarine, bits and pieces of it lying all over the quayside, real oddball bunch of guys working on the thing, one of them was trying to weld a bracket on to the deck, making a real pigs ear of it he was, wouldn't have hung my coat on it never mind part of the structure of the submarine...
That ones deffo off the excursion list..
Going back to to the Irish guy inventing the submarine, didn't he innitally call it a boat then rename it after it sunk...
