not so much. At least, I don't recall that much early history. We did a lot from the 1800 Act of Union to @ late 1930's. I took history for my leaving cert ( A levels equivalent) and we did a fair bit of European History then.

Year 2000 I am one of 7 people to set up sarahs law in its initial stage and very proud of it, eat yet heart a certain troll, I was the original fund raising manager for the safety house and Sarah's law and helped organize Sarah's excellent memorial with 4 others, Jan, Sara Paynes brother, Sara and Terry. we had a big battle for Sarahs law and won but to the loss of Terry and Sara's marraige, Paul her brothers life and also Terry died from issues related with it. In memory of thise guys and now the quite sick SARA or Zara As press say, you all did great and now thanks to Sara and Terry Payne, Paul, Sarah and Bruce Blinch, us and two others that I cant name for legal reasons as they were involved in the services provided, we got it. feck OFF PAEDO'S and to all mums who get a new bloke, check the register as you never know.

Thanks Dermo do not want any credit for anything to do with it, Sara should get that. oh and Sally Gunnell. Sara I did not like a great deal when first started as thought she was after the limelight, far from it, she was after getting something done so what happened to sarah never hapened again, remarkarble woman, the strength after what happened. Sall Gunell was our Patron and so supportive and another sports person who many will slate immediately they hear the name but was superb and wanted nothing back like Sall, no press nowt, Chris Eubanks, thanks Sally and Chris and also Chris Tarrant who came to the memorial as co Patron and cried. He gave his time, his passion and he put a good five hundred quid in every bucket (20 buckets) which no one would have seen as he just dropped something in each, to help support our cause to get Sarah's ;aw, based on Australian MEGANS law
