Morning all, not been on Alfie very sick. He came back from kennels very unwell and very bloated, he improved a little but his heart could not take it. Hopefully he will pull through but yesterday he could not even stand, the day before he was much improved, today he is on a real heavy meds regime and hopefully will pick up, he did eat and manage to go for a little walk out the back earlier. He wont be going back there as he has meds for this reason and as A DOG who will not mess in his own quarters he must have held on to it a lot as not taken away, only answer I can see. Never had the problem before but I also think he was left cold and wet as very wheezy too. Meryl take note.

8 but usually very fit and playful, he does have a small heart condition and does sometimes retain, but usually give him meds (that were handed to kennels with instruction) and he clears within an hour to a few hours, no more than one day of tabs normally, very sick, my younger dog has been superb though and has done everything from gently bringing him chewy sticks to washing him very gently andnudging him if laying wrong so breathing worse.

Good evening all. Hope Alfie is getting better Kev. A nice gentle doggie. Unlike the other one who keeps standing on my foot.

Our wee Bobby was the same Kev, he had to get away from the house before he would dump, took us ages to find a kennel that understood his needs, Bobby liked to back onto a clump of grass or similar, bet Alfie was hardly outside the kennels, poor wee soul ,hope he is well soonTopdog wrote:8 but usually very fit and playful, he does have a small heart condition and does sometimes retain, but usually give him meds (that were handed to kennels with instruction) and he clears within an hour to a few hours, no more than one day of tabs normally, very sick, my younger dog has been superb though and has done everything from gently bringing him chewy sticks to washing him very gently andnudging him if laying wrong so breathing worse.

Patch likes to do his in long grass too. I told him he is at his most vulnerable whilst taking a dump so he tries to hide as much as possible so the fox dont get him.
Some rain coming in a minute apparently. Good morning then.
