Vito Chassis/Engine Number
Anyone know where the VIN and Engine Number are on a 2007 Vito? I can't find anything on the floor near the drivers seat nor anything on the windscreen either.

Re: Vito Chassis/Engine Number
Just ask at an MOT station Dermot. A 10 year old Vito will be riddled with rust. Unless someones covered it of course...............

Re: Vito Chassis/Engine Number
Round about 2007, Mercedes brought in a 12 year corrosion warranty on their vans cos the previous ones had such a bad name for rust. Took a look at that van today. spotless. New( ish) tyres, new brake pads. Took it for a spin. Couldn't find reverse or 1st gear. No thanks I said. Toyota Hiaces are impossible to come by and when they do, they go for crazy money. I was quite happy with my vito up until last weekend. that wouldn't put me off buying another.
