Well, they are making parking spaces for 100 more cars to visit all those stalls!

No shortage of parking in Los Abrigos, and about 10% of the roads have never been tarmacced anyway. Same contractor no doubt as the roundabout.

hope they finish the main road, it has been crap for the last couple of years, raised manhole covers, temporary yellow lines, unfinished roundabout the whole lot needs tarmacking.

Hmmmm, turns out the correct spelling is tarmacing. We were both wrong then.

The trouble in Tenerife is as soon as they lay a new road surface they put speed humps in all over the place. Sort of defeats the object really.

Just substitute "tarred"...it's easier.
