Well when a Panda breaks 90% of people just threw them away, being blinded by the promise of power brakes, power steering, central locking, and electric windows if they upgrade to say a Punto? Not to mention a heater that blows out hot rather than luke warm air after 20 minutes of driving it. Consequently very few remain even though in fact they are not really prone to terminal rust, unlike some Fiat, Lancias and Alfas from the same period. Or even later. Probably Italys 80s answer to the Morris Marina of the UK and France's 2CV and Russias Lada. Simple and easy to fix. Sikaflex........ Well it works great on boats in a marine environment...... Forgot to mention VWs Mk 1 Polo, worth money now the ones that are left. Was reading a facebook page tonight, guy wants 800 quid for one without MOT so all the 'experts' on there tell him it will make more with an MOT. I know where to advertise it then...... I'm not so greedy. 750cc, 750kg, £750 will do nicely sir. And it will increase in value more than 10% year on year. Think I need a barn.........
