very true and of course lets not forget that death to a doctor is an everyday happening so very easy to deal with. The guilt if that is the case would probably be far less than most other people. They have never dug up the road works just close by and one guy has always said they should. Other thing of course is if Madeline is still alive she is either very much captive, drugged or having a great time as now old enough to have found out. I think they know she is not as they have never been bothered by strong leads of suspected sightings, any of us would have been there before the ground was cold. Another thing it was reported Millionaires and they also made many more in the fund, surely you would have employed the very best in the world, not a team but a small firm, one or two surveillance experts to persue, they fecking found Bin Laden ffs

I don't have an opinion on this based on the simple fact that no one knows what happened. If the wee girl WAS kidnapped, I can't imagine what they, (McCanns), are going through.

I think she was dead right from the start.  As Carol said anyone else would have at the very least been charged with abandonment.  Instead they just kept grabbing the cash.

Reg they are quacks up there with estate agents and mps for bullshit, car dealers next. .... They went out quite a distance from the accommodation you can be sure the kids were helped to sleep and good parents would risk that. One wakes they all wake. Sorry guys quite strong feelings on this as I got a bit pissed off with them laughing and joking and then saying how sad they were on TV. I also was a carer at the time and just stopped being involved with Sarah's law and the safety house campaign. I sort of made a point of going quite heavy in to this as I thought I should be feeling bad for the parents and wasn't, unlike Sara Terry Payne who I saw in person and immediately knew the agony they were going through. Uncle Paul, Sarah's uncle who died about a year later from cancer would have personally strangled Whiting if he could have got to him. He was a Hells Angel, lovely guy.
When Maddie went missing there was not the same remorse, very much the same as the girl near Reg who had been stowed at an aunts house, For me the McCanns are guilty, if only for what they did in leaving the children, they should have been prosecuted. I actually believe they are guilty of far more and that is my own belief and we are all entitled to those, if others want to believe they are innocent and feel sad for them that is up to them. 
The very least though get them charged for abandonment and check the sexual allegation comments out. They should be heavily under social services for the rest of their children having abandoned them, we would be. That flag got waived and I am disgusted at that, as said in Meryls post they went off two weeks later and left the kids where it all happened, now lets just think about that, ok they needed to do things, both of them, nah. The kids were already distraught and were being left where this happened and where they had a barrage of press and investigators wrecking their young lives, money scamming is what I say. He earned 75k a year as a hospital consultant which would be far more than that as GP'S get 109k per year, She was on similar, their mortgage was 2k per month, they paid that from the initial fund according to reports. She did get 756k after tax for her book which she put into the fund but they still paid all own expenses  from the fund allegedly.
lets say they were only earning 140k a year between them and 2k per month was mortgage, they would still be worth a considerable amount

Just read all this as was not on last night , I stand by what I said but would love to see her found same as Ben Needham that went missing in Greece. 
Just one small thing which always bugged me you lot may think it's nothing but why pay extra to take a James Villa holiday & not use the nannys on an evening ? These are holidays that specialise in looking after children while parents enjoy a few hours alone & you pay for it . Why would you not of used it & instead left your children alone ,just saying x
