Police are investigating reported sighting of Madeleine McCann in Nerja

The police are investigating a clue which puts Madeleine McCann in Nerja. The Judicial Police Commissioner-General received the request to verify the information from the Portuguese authorities.

Diario Sur reports it’s understood the request came by e-mail and arrived some ten days ago.

Portuguese investigators received the Nerja clue and they want to confirm it with the Spanish colleagues. A witness said they saw a girl who looked by Madeline in Nerja.

I can say this as McQueen isn´t around but the McCanns must be short of money again hence this cropping up

Still firmly believe she's out there somewhere, but always wonder how Ben Needham's parents/family feel about all the media attention the McCann's are afford (pun intended).

A little cold hearted perhaps? If it was your child, would you not use every means possible to get her back regardless of how that support was obtained?

Cold hearted not me, eldest (25) is off to Magaluf in the morning with 4 life long friends for a 5 day girls 'drinking' holiday to celebrate there birthdays and it's BCM's opening party this weekend apparently .



Are we worried too bloody right we are, just like every time we don't hear from our daughters for more than 2 days, they are 23 & 25 and both have left home.
You'll struggle to find a more protective parent than me.

I am one of those that think the McCanns always knew more than they were letting on and were always more interested in the money/publicity. They should have been done for neglect because anyone who leaves a young child is totally irresponsible. If they had been factory workers instead of doctors they would have felt the long arm of the law as they got off the plane rather than swanning around using money donated to search for the little one.
