Went to tip this afternoon with all the excess Christmas/New Year rubbish, no frost near us, half a mile up the road everything's white, cars, pavements, trees etc all covered in a deep frost...

Very sunny but cold today but the good news is it was a lot lighter this afternoon, perhaps 20 minutes extra daylight, I really will miss the cold later this week

The feckin paint froze in the back of the van last night. Doesn't do paint any good that. If it happens another couple of times, it needs to be thrown out.

My window cleaner leaves a little Delongi oil radiator on in his van to stop his tank freezing up,
