When the "Old" pound coins were first introduced my cousin started collecting them as they were a bit rare to pound notes, he had a big round glass goldfish type bowl in his living room that he flung everyone he got in,,, house gets broken in to, tv, video etc gone including the bowl with the pound coins,,, insurance paid out for tv, video etc but not the pound coins,,, he'd worked out when full there would have been about three grand in it, plan was nice holiday, when stolen he reckoned just over a grand in it...

Got passed a Scottish fiver the other day. Aghast to note theres no Queen on it. Just a picture of some bird I had never heard of and whats that on the back, couple of Salmon is it? Keep up Scotland, a Sturgeon is what you want.

You know something, comes up very often as quiz questions, who's picture is on a fiver, tenner etc,,, all I know is a fiver has a 5 on it, tenner a 10, a twenty a 20 etc etc, who gives a feck who's gob is on it...
