Just came on to forum, got a pop-up warning saying something like "Site is unsecure and not safe do I want to continue",,, clicked continue option, all seems to be working ok...

Check URL address bar. It should look like this: 
The wee padlock and the "s" behind http// means we are secure. Someone somewhere is playing about with tweaking things as when I go into "imgserv" to add photos, I'm now having to put my password in everytime again.

Got the "s" but not the padlock, just checked BBC news site it has both...

The padlock is displayed in the address bar on ipad. When you touch it the full URL is displayed with the https included
