Re: Grand National 2018
Haven't had a bet for years. Too many things you can bet on now from how many hairs on a horses tail
to who will fall at which fence . Now a waste of time and money you always hear when punters win never how much they have lost.

Re: Grand National 2018
Turns out Annie found out race was on just before start, she managed to get a bet on via Internet, would seem her brother who died a few years back allways had a bet on the National and since it would have been his birthday today she decided to put a bet on, his name was Desmond (Des) hence the two horses she picked,,, tenner down the tube...

Re: Grand National 2018
Once a bloody year have a little flutter and get " call yourself an animal lover if you encourage this cruelty". FFS So I just backed out. I wanted to tell them that we lived directly opposite Peter Cundell's stables and Dick Hern's was a mile down the road and those bloody horses were treated like royalty. And like cyclists they were a menace on the roads.
