Don't do the horses, but usually have a bet on the national, she's heading out to town with her mate so I say as you pass the bookies put a bet on, she says she wants a bet on number fourteen as it was her brothers birthday, so I look up No 14, it's called Double Seven, and the odds were 14/1 at the time, so she's going £7 each way...

I went a pound each way on Teaforthree and Jim did the same on The Package. Didn´t realise it was National day until I got a message from the SIL asking what we wanted him to back for us. Didn´t have time to see if there was a grey - I like greys.

Well her £7 each way done her ok,,, I'd a fiver each way on Burton Post and The Package, first one went down at the second fence, the second finished but ran out of steam on the final run in...
