Christmas meet up

Just sat talking to Ben & wondered if we could arrange a meet up or even an over night stay somewhere for anyone that fancy’s it.
I suggested maybe the lakes or if someone else has any thoughts
We don’t mind traveling.

Reg is always in Tenerife Christmas period Carol, from mid-December into January if I recall correctly. (He'll let us know! ) What date(s) were you thinking about? x

Ok will spend some time on it today & tomorrow , is everyone ok with Saturday 1st December or we could do 30 th & 1 st make a weekend of it . Let me know what you all think & if these dates suit everyone x

Right folks I have had a good look at various different places & these are what I have come up with on either the weekend of 23 / 25 Nov or 30 / 02 December .
Because of the dates we need somewhere that is easily accessible (train etc) just incase of bad weather .
I have picked out the following The borders of the Lakes . Whitby , Newcastle, Durham ,London Blackpool (don’t knock it it’s fun in a nice hotel )
Has anyone got any preferences ? Also thought around £200/250 for 2 nights per couple.

Let me know who is interested & any thoughts you have & il get cracking with it x

I am not keen on London or blackpool,but it will be Cam who makes the choice. I will send the post to Cam's work email as he is not home till late afternoon.

Whitby is full of sea gulls and they get on my nerves
I like the Lakes as you know and that is halfway ish for the Brodies. Amblside has something to do like shop for a new outdoor Jacket, rather than sit looking at each others faces,
I dont want to slum it in a B&B also so a nice hotel with trimmings suits me,
Janet will do as she is told as usual but she dont mind because i am always right
The lake are nearest to Ireland too, saying that if Dermont can land at LBA airport early ish i can pick him up - it wont be dear
