Can’t find that it has a bar I thought it had but the other three do Briary wood has 4 & good reviews have a look & see which other you fancy . I could get us all a week at Pine Lakes Resort with my timeshare for £300 but I don’t think anyone can stay that long . Let me know which one you fancy. x

Re: Christmas meet up
Right been up most of the night trying to sort this so we want a hotel not a B&B or Guesthouse, no dogs, NO FORIGNERS ( says he that has property in a foreign country) 4* or up, near a town, with a bar.
We have the 3 original ones minus the Diamond hotel( sorry thought it had a bar or would not of picked it )
I have also found a good deal which will go quickly it is McDonald hotel Leeming house 4* Penrith
Executive room
Half board
Cream tea
Welcome drink on arrival
Works out at £339 per couple ( no discount for single occupancy.
A quick one to throw in the mix The Wateredge Inn maybe cheaper but has 9.3 Superb for its reviews & is in a prime position .
Failing this we could all fly to Prague in a 5 star hotel see all the lovely sights, get pissed every night on Vodka & still get change out of £400
I will come back to this tonight so let me know what you think & lets get it booked as rooms are disappearing fast at all venues x

Re: Christmas meet up
We frequent wateredge for lunch at the side of Windermere, but if it rains which it will in the Lake district then you have to taxi of walk up to Ambleside, quite a way
If a hotel is putting on specials then there is something up with the place,
Bit like Tenerife, yes Palm mar is value for money but your captured unless you drive or have a bono card
You need to be in the centre for alternative things to do depending on the weather,
I for one dont like to be captured and staring out of the window, I go mental

Re: Christmas meet up
Right let’s get this into perspective if you want a hotel I’m down to Briery Wood Hotel or Langdale chase most of the rooms have gone on the others & we need 4 so it’s either one of those or a different destination x
