What do you do with your left overs??

I thought you lot were talking about leftovers. I was hoping for some inspiration for cheapo comfort food.

Anyway.... the only leftovers I ever have is mashed potato, and I make gnocchi or potato cakes with it.

They were talking about the left over areas on our pages and if the forum goes tits up, who would be left over.

I love chicken so I grilled enough to use it next day.

1st day- grilled chicken with vinaigrette sauce, sides of pilaf rice, and grilled asparagus. Dessert- Strawberry cake with pecan and strawberry sauce as a toping.

2nd day- left over chicken mixed it with red bliss potatoes and mixed vegetables with rice.

3rd day- Chicken vegetable soup with cut up celery, carrot, onions, potatoes and Italian bread on the side.

Beef stew 2 days in a row, with lovely fluffy dumplings, all homemade of course.

I'm doing sticky sweet and sour chicken with sesame seeds tonight... with left ver roast chicken. Loverlee!

Sounds good Elle! What's with the sesame seeds, they're for bird tables...

Ended up making Southern fried chicken and potato wedges tonight. Yummy!

Cute! Our boys still haven't experienced it first hand. We have announced to Spain that it is allowed to snow overnight... just the once... so we can video the boys. Then it can all melt and never return ha ha!

3 black labs now over 25 year spread, all loved the snow and they look so good in it.
