    think we should all say our favourite out of the way place to eat, when I say out of the way I mean away from the Touristic area's
    but including North resorts.

    Just back from the north (xmas shopping for the boys) and had a bite in the cafe in Al Campo,

    What exactly is an empanada? I know its something to do with bread. Is it like a toasted sambo and can you get different variations?

    An empanada is the equivalent of a UK pasty and the most common filling is tuna (atun) but you can also get other fillings including apple.

    Wherever you go there is always a Richard Head ..... the food wasn´t burnt, they are just internet photos so you get an idea of what I was on about. :Crazy:

    Just googled "sambo". You guys hava a WAY different meaning to it than us. A sambo here just means a sandwich Best Unusual and out of the way Restaurant. 3025408739

    When I googled sambo I got images of toasted sandwiches, club sandwiches etc etc so wondered why I should be a 'silly girl' We obviously don´t all think alike. Thank goodness.
