Thai i can live with, we could wander about and take pot luck ?, 3 we used have gone out of business
Pitch and Piano that we have used is just complete rubbish, went in there last Sunday and the meal was yuk, I try not to moan when having a day out because it spoils it and Janet said her's was ok
Was bigging up Taurus in Tenerife to friends and that turned out rubbish, so i dunno

Re: Short Break in York
Take a look at Grillhouse on the corner,( small restaurant with varied menu ) Vaqueroos, (Steakhouse) & Delrios ( Italian)
All got good reviews but because it’s Saturday night & there is quite a few of us we may struggle for a table somewhere . What does everyone else think x

Do our own thing and meet up in bar afterwards Carol. Hard to get a table for 8 over the weekend.

Re: Short Break in York
Dermot did well to come all the way from Ireland, we spent 30 mins max to get there
We enjoyed it too including the chat on Brexit and borders etc
Shame the hotel did not do meals like the Lake district we could have talked blox for hours instead of hunting places to eat that take undesirables in, but we were lucky there, thank you Carol
