What are you doing Xmas day?
We have been out for Xmas dinner since we have been here. This year we have been invited to do a round robin with some friends. Apparently you go to ones house for the starter, one for the main and another for pud. I have never done anything like this (seems a bit odd to me) We have not yet decided however.

Breakfast on the terrace, Shorts and santa hat, Spend some time watching the peasants walk past, A light lunch, Shower, check myself out in the mirror, Tel janet her clobber looks fine, 17 times at least, Then a slow stroll hand in hand with my xmas babe to town, Meet up with the gang, And pile in for the big meal,

Re: Where's you spending xmas day?
Unfortunately we'll be back in the freezing UK at my parents for Christmas dinner, family tradition & saves us all the hassle of cooking & washing up.
However it's going to be a sparse one this year both our daugthers are doing there own thing for first time and my sister & her family aren't travelling from down south.
So as much as we wish we were still in Tenerife for Christmas Day probably going to be a blessing for my parents keeps them happy I suppose !
Mind next year plans are a foot to spend Christmas & NYD in Tenerife if we aren't grandparents by then.

I saw a nice recipe type post by TD somewhere the other day. It sounded really delicious! (You can tell Trish is making my tea, I'm salivating here!)

Thats sounds a really great idea Cru, you can do the main course, I will do the cheese and biccies with a nice drop of vintage port.

Re: Where's you spending xmas day?
You can get creosote in industrial quantities (25l). Very cheap too, its smell lingers so your neighbours may grass you up if you do a fence in it.

We still use it for most poles but poles in school grounds and play parks have to have a special treatment. (Non-carcinogenic stuff).
