TF5 reopens to traffic
The section of the Northern Motorway (TF-5) has been reopened to traffic half an hour ago. Since yesterday evening, the traffic had to be rerouted after a landslide. www.europapress.es/islas-canarias/noticia-reabren-trafico-tf-altura-realejos-20111227113335.html

It's alright for you doing your missionary work abroad teaching johnny foreigner the British way but they really must be faster on the uptake of English or else they will be left behind by the other colonies - America ,Australia etc.

Haha! All joking aside, I don't think I could ever leave Scotland for good. I know the weather's crap and the politician's are crap etc, but I still love it...it's home and I'll die here.

You obviously don´t have a long term partner AM otherwise you would not have had to ask. Life can be hell if you both don´t agree on important issues like The way you should cut a Kiwi Fruit in half, or whether to peel a grape or just bung it in your gob. :sulk2:

I was referring to recent years, rather than when we need more land for our sheep.

Plenty sheep-grazing land up here now. That's how the Duke of Sutherland managed to build this...I remember though when I was young, mum and dad seriously thought about emigrating to Australia on the £10 Poms scheme. We couldn't even afford £10 a head then as there were 7 of us.
