Phone call from NHS.
Just got my Covid Jab invite. Thanks Boris, 3 days early! Tomorrow at 11:55 at Kings Lynn Hospital. I did ask the nice lady if I could bring Patsy so she asked me how old is she? 63. No, shes too young. Never mind, I tried. She can come along anyway, I will have another try tomorrow. Big silly grin on my face now........

All done. Didnt seem to get much. Little prick and it was all over. You have to sit down afterwards for 15 minutes make sure you dont keel over or die. Take your reading glasses cos there are forms to fill in. Asked if I wanted a sticker but declined. I'm 66 not 6 ffs. I noticed everyone else got one. Posers! I had the Pfizer jab. They could see I was worth saving. Reg, you are missing out pal! Lovely nurse as well.

Bet there is loads of spare jabs going in Leeds as well. Never mind, he can worry about it sitting on his terrace in the sunshine. They have given me a little card to say I have had the jab.

Can it be used on flights as a vaccine passport?

I was listening to a radio program a few days back, a "vaccine development scientist" was being interviewed, her answer to one question was,,, "Well my job's going to be safe for at least ten years"...

Good, dont mind paying for that. Educated in UK then? More than likely. In the days when we didnt send thickos like myself to uni just so they dont show up on unemployment statistics.

Talking of thickos if you sleep on your right side dont have your jab in your right arm, like I did. Doh.

Yeah they asked which arm I wanted it in but didnt have much time to ponder the question. Its only a bit sore if you press it but its a tip for others. I havent had any side effects at all really. Generally pretty lethargic at the best of times so cant count that one.

Have to hold my hands up to that then, trouble is one arm hurts if I do.
