I didnt think I would like the Millau Viaduct but it is breathtaking and everyone should drive across it at least once in their lives - especially early morning when you are above the clouds. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Didn´t Norman Foster design some of the housing estates in Milton Keynes? I know he did Wembley Stadium. In the little museum / gift shop at Millau the Brits hardly get a mention, and where it does say he designed the viaduct it is only in French and German - typical If you could go any route. - Page 2 192295 !!!

They built the bridge to relieve traffic from Millau etc, Now theirs more traffic because people go to see the bridge, Took me ages to drive through the town to the camp site, Top Gear did a piece on the opening , The French forgot to mention a Britain designed it, They would be talking German if it wasnt for us, Cheeky bleeders,

Anyway I would go France, Switzerland, Italy. Then back across through Monaco eventually doing Spain and Portugal, via top half of Spain, dropping in to Top of Portugal, down through Playa de Luz, back in to Spain, Costa de Luz. I would then do various bits before jumping the boat to Tenerife.
