Scottish football might as well shut up shop if the SFA are not allowed to discipline a club for flagrantly breaking their rules on how clubs have to behave.

Apparently the court agreed with Rangers that the SFA had acted outside their rules by applying a sentence which was not listed in the Tribunals guidelines, even although the last actio allowed says "or other such sentence as the ysee fit for the severity of the offence"

They can always recharge them and throw the book at them if an appeal doesn't work.

Seriously though, if the SFA lose this case then Scottish football will be finished - if the SFA can't legally enforce their own rules, there will be total anarchy.

Let's hope the non old firm clubs have the courage to actually insist that the SFA actually enforces it's rules and kicks Rangers out of the SPL in Div 3

    Nice One Rangers

By going to court against SFA, they are now in breach of FIFA rules.

The SFA will now have to sort it out in double quick time or FIFA will interven - if they do the whole of Scottish football could be banned from all international competition, no European football, no World Cup, No Euro Championships

I'll admit to that but can you really see Scottish football surviving without any competition with external clubs - no friendlies, nothing.

Suppose we could always open the Scottish Cup to all sides in Scotland !!

To be honest what every you say without Rangers the league and Scottish football would be even poorer with only one club winning ever thing in sight.

Speaking as a neutral football supporter, to be perfectly honest I'd rather see an honest league without Rangers than a league where every time they play you're left wondering if they are cheating.

You have to bear in mind that this hasn't just happened, it dates back to when Souness was a player at Ibrox.

This is what Rangers stooped to to win 9 in a row. It's the only way they could do it. Pay massive wages to get in International players...it makes me sick with anger. Cheating sods...

On point 1, I personally have no axe to grind with Rangers. On the other 2 points, it's too late as the can of worms is already well and truly open and the stench of corruption comes from one place.

Why would the Celtic be worried?..We are in no glasshouse but a house built on solid foundations.

But I do wonder if the SFA or HMRC delved in to the workings of any football club how many would be found to have let’s say not fully dotted the I’s or stroked the T’s on some contracts or procedures, and surely Rangers are not the only club to have “creative” accountants...

I will also add I am neither a Rangers or Celtic fan, and after my teams performance in the cup final, I’m thinking of possibly withdrawing from Scottish football totally, much the same as my team did that day.............

Apparently HMRC have started preparing for the CVA failing and have a petition going to court to allow them to replace Duff & Duffer as administrators.

The way this saga is running, we'll still be none the wiser come the start of next season. I just want to know if the SFA have the balls to insist if any "new" company is formed, will they start off in Div 3?

Timmylish made an important point on another forum. If Celtic buy big players for the Champions League games and spend oodles of dosh, what if FIFA bans all Scottish teams from playing in Europe because of Rangers going over the "Football lawmen" to the civil courts. They would never be able to recoup any of the money they spend. If Rangers go down the Pan. - Page 6 3275847336
