With being away lost touch with the Rangers fiasco, what’s the latest both on the pitch and legally/financially.

That's a damned good question, there seems to be dearth of any news at all since last week when they got a conditional licence so that the cup tie with Brechin could go ahead.
There's nothing on any of the usual news sources with updates on that.
Let's hope someone on here can fill us in with the latest news.

Well at least Hibs are consistent, started the season as we finished it, consistently shi#e, suppose it could be worse, you got to scroll down a good bit to find the Gers...

So is it a bit like “we’re doing you for doing 30mph in what’s now a 20 limit when it was 30” or is me reading it wrong.

Re: If Rangers go down the Pan.
I might be being a bit thick here but how can the NEW Rangers web site have a trophy room section listing the OLD Rangers record as THEIR history ??
See here http://www.rangers.co.uk/club/history/trophy-room ??
Either they are a new company starting from scratch or they are a phoenix company keeping everything which went wrong with the old company. I can't wait to see what the liquidators and HMRC make of the current set up as it appears that they want the benefits of being a new company but retaining all the good bits from the old company but none of the bad bids.

I don't think they have accepted the fact the old Rangers were liquidated Bobmac. Head in the sand innit...they actually believe they ARE the old Rangers.

Re: If Rangers go down the Pan.
Is it called "The Rangers F.C." or "Rangers F.C."?

It seems they are now RFC 2012 PLC. And they are refusing to attend the SPL commission investigating the dual contracts or EBTs.

If they piss the SPL off now, wonder what will happen in a few years time “if” they’re knocking on the door to get back in....
Let me guess...

Yeah, and the Daily Rangers will probably give more coverage to the Ramsden cup!

"It's a war in the 3rd Division!" Didn't a Rangers player say that in The Sun recently?

Re: If Rangers go down the Pan.
"We believe that there was pressure; they were under pressure from
their own fans and they took a decision and we understand that.
"If you had taken all of these external pressures away then Motherwell and other clubs would have voted differently."
It doesn't bode well for the future of ranger fans if Green wanted the other clubs to ignore the wishes of their supporters
