Remember when Derek and Gerry played together in "The Irish Times"? That was always one of their jokes in the run-up to Christmas.

Me and Trish never had to hide, he knew us so well he never asked.Underdog wrote:All Derick said was "Jeezuz" Hello lovely couple, Where are you from, I used to hide behind a pillar,
Derek couldn't sing but boy, he could play that keyboard. He's still there by the way. I think there's a new owner, young lad called Johhny and his girl/wife. He sings and plays guitar. I miss Ger and Derek though, that place was mobbed in the old days.

Considering it didnt fire up until 10pm, And had to keep quiet after midnight it was the place to be. But when you have been out since 7pm i used to start yawning at 11pm, You dont sell a succesfull bar, Unless its on the skids, Stick a manager in, We go in some places and wonder how it keeps going, More so if you rent the place, There all doomed i tell you, The worlds going to end, And we all go to hell in a hand cart. Anybody know where hell is ?,

My Father played harmonica, He used to be telling you something then finnish it off with a few notes, Kept it in his top pocket ready to whip it out when needed, Also had a large version with a lever you pushed in and out, Thinking back, He was barking mad,

The one with the slide is a "chromatic" harmonica. It's capable of playing any key in the "chromatic" scale by definition. I think he must have been quite good your old man.Underdog wrote:My Father played harmonica, He used to be telling you something then finnish it off with a few notes, Kept it in his top pocket ready to whip it out when needed, Also had a large version with a lever you pushed in and out, Thinking back, He was barking mad,

You can tell the differant temperatures how the snow or frost sticks to the trees, The last picture looks mighty cold, Beautifull, Them little animals all tucked up, Tough times for the birds too, I like to put stuff out for the birds when its like that,

I can't believe she has put "rolls" with a capital. Anyone would think we were going to pick her up with a chauffeur. What she means is the bacon rolls will be ready for brekky...
