Submarine or boat sunk in Lough Foyle.

Here's one for Caribecelt and 3rdForum. It seems sonar images show what may be a submarine/boat on the sea bed in Lough Foyle. No one is sure when this happened so they are trying to keep divers away as there may be unexploded ordnance on board from the war or it may even be a war grave...

A lot of Allied boats and the like where around that neck of the woods during WW2,so I would put my money on an allied sub that was scuttled for one reason or another.
Also the Nazi navy surrendered there so it could be a Nazi sub sunk as it was not sea worthy and it was sunk by the allies without any record of it.

Saw a series on tele years ago called 'Das Bot' all in German it was but you didnt need it translated. Haunting film, saw it again dubbed into English but it wasn't the same.
