Yes I have swam back. It is a long way so very exhausted now will tell you all my tales later.

We arrived at Tenerife airport at 5.30 on and I texted TD that we were here. While waiting for him a tall guy walked towards us and LR recognized Perfect specimen. He had come to change his hire car and just happened to see us. Then Topdog walked up wearing his shades and said hello. They were both what I expected.
He dropped us off outside our apartment block and was surprised that there was someone else that looked like me. I am a twin and my sister was there with the keys to her friends apartment which we were renting.
Our meetup on the Tues was great as you saw on another thread. I did go home to shower and change and we then all continued except gypsy and her OH in the claddagh. We had a great time and we all felt we had known one another for ages.

part 2.
Over the next few days I saw TD and Mcqueen and there better halfs during the day. I could not resist Tenerife Royal Gardens where they were staying. I wanted to see their apartments as I am just nosey. I was well impressed and both were well kitted out with everything you could want and more. My favorite is the one overlooking the beach.
I had lunch with Reg and his wife 2 days running on their lovely balcony.
I would always be out of the apartment by 10am and would have breakfast in a few different places. I would then wander along the walkway into Los Americas and further on. I stopped off at the shops and went into some of them to see what they had. I brought a new leather handbag and presents for my daughters. I also went to TEECANDY in Parque Santiago 3 to get t shirts printed with granddaughters name. They were very helpful in the shop and i am very pleased with the result.
At night time after I had had dinner we went to either Irish Times or Claddagh bar. As we know the musicians in both we alternated where we went. We met Jimandsi,Sgd,Irishmusico,Seanocelt,Chatty Cathy, Anto3 from some tenerife forums. It is surprising who you can meet.
My 8 days in Tenerife went far too quickly and I was sad to come home.

Well M what can I say? Get Cam working Saturdays AND Sundays. And keep an eye on the Ryanair site, bargains to be had.........
