Sorry, you just have to keep hitting "View posts since last visit". It does the same job and more as it shows you all new posts you have not looked at. If the little A4 paper icon has dark blue lines on it, then you have unread posts in it. If the A4 paper icon has grey lines then there are no new posts.

New or Recent Posts button
I think a "Today´s/New/Recent Posts" button would be a big help for all users of the site, members and non-members alike. Visitors and potential members would be encouraged to join if they could easily catch up with recent posts. Before I became a member, I really missed this feature. Even now, the "posts since last visit" button is often not enough to keep an overview of recent posts as the ones before the last visit, although still recent, are automatically deleted.

Most of the changes I can make to the forum are really only visual effects Dronnyman, you know, colours, button styles, border lines etc. Our hosting site, Forumotion, makes the decisions to what we can actually "call up". I can't even change these to buttons.

From the home page scroll down to below the list of topics. on the right is a Todays active Topics. click on that scroll down and you can select different times .ie this week, last 2 weeks, months etc

Just click on "Bookmark", then click on "Bookmark this page" Dermo, then when you want to read the posts you missed, just open it from your bookmarks. Handy if you get called away for a while or you need a kip or something.
