Not exactly user-friendly, is it? Non-members have no chance.

Re: New Posts
As said I agree with you Donnyman, having been a member of “other” forums you get used to the format, took me a bit of time to get a handle on this one, and yes could be off-putting to new members...

Even now, the "posts since last visit" button is often not enough to keep an overview of recent posts as the ones before the last visit, although still recent, are automatically deleted.
From the home page scroll down to below the list of topics. on the right is a Todays active Topics. click on that scroll down and you can select different times .ie this week, last 2 weeks, months etc
.see pic
Would it be possible to have this feature as part page headings along with “View posts since last visit”, “View your posts”, etc...

Re: New Posts
Well, we were all non-members to start with and managed to struggle through, save a thought for us poor admin who had never seen an admin panel before this one and started this from scratch! I agree that it would be better if there was a button for recent/new posts etc. I'll have a look at that link Mermaid was talking about and see if I can maybe add a button to the main Nav bar that links to it. Give me a bit of time though as I've just had one decorator in for an estimate and I'm typing this while waiting on the other one coming.

Re: New Posts
OK. You should now see a "New Posts" button on your Nav Bar. (Main red buttons). This will give you all the active posts for the last week, so you shouldn't lose any posts when logging off and on again. (I hope).

Sorry AM, I missed this post of yours. As post before this one states I've added a new button which links to this and gives you a weeks worth of posts.

Re: New Posts
I did of course notice the new button to play with when I first logged on tonight. All well and good but it looks a tad untidy up there. All the buttons should be in a nice line. If you could make them 23% smaller I'm sure they would fit nicely.

Agree, or maybe just make the gap smaller I don´t like the log out dropping onto another line. We are better than that, anyway who would want to log out

My screen is 13" side to side and I'm on Chrome. 2 buttons are on a different line.

I'm on Chrome and I only have 1 button on a different line.
Hang on I have just done Ctrl - and they are now all on the same line but the print is tiny, would need to wear these to read posts
