Advice please .....

I'm going to resign from my £50k pa job in the UK and move out to Tenerife ('cus my mate says it's brill).

I don't have much money, but am willing to work really hard and I might be prepared to share a villa with someone.

I like partying hard 24/7 and I've already started to learn the lingo:- "Hola".

So, a couple of questions please:-

How long will it take me to find a proper job ?

Is there a long council house waiting list ?

How long do the pubs stay open till ?

Is it very hot there ?

Sorry about the Thicko from Admin, Sir, why would you want to mention Estate Agents as you are after a council house. Pubs open all day but the later you drink, the dearer it is.
You say a proper job, do you know anything about fashion accessories, like watches and sunglasses?
It is hot on every day, apart from the cold ones.

you seem like a bright lad,you go for it.feck getting a job,feck getting a council house,doss with a mate,bum off them.get yourself outside hipo dino and scrounge off any pillock daft enough to give you owt .the boozers are open as long as you got money,or they kick you out cos you have not paid your tab.it doesnt get too hot when you sleep all day.if you do get a job,you must be good at pestering people.best of luck see you outside hipo dino in october.

If you don't have much money then sleep on the beach and become a lookie lookie. You will have to get a suntan first..

I think it is cheap to live on the reef. Easy to beg!!!!! try it and see if it works.

Sorry H I had no idea you had skin cancer. I had not meant sun bathe to get a tan but to darken your skin with boot polish.. I should have made my comment more clear. I also have to watch being in the sun and never can sunbathe.

How lucky am I then ?

I've already been promised a brill job in Public Relations for when I get there. I'll be getting plenty of fresh air apparently and I'll certainly enjoy meeting the potential clients. My new boss has told me, that to save on admin etc. they are going to pay me cash in hand and provide me with an evening meal / drink.

He also says that because I'm fairly "switched on" it shouldn't take long to train me up for the position.

I can't wait.
