River Blyth, was once working river and the site of a massive coal fired power station now 7 years on the estuary is a mecca for bird wildlife.

I like the way you try to get a bit of grass or vegetation in the foreground of what is essentially a landscape photo. I try to do that as well and Mermaid thinks I'm daft when I climb over fences and things just so I can stick the corner of a whin bush in the foreground...

Keep climbing it gives the depth of field needed in photographs it's all about the composition.
Should always aim for a foreground, mid ground & background in your snaps.
