we met a lovely couple at birmingham airport last year, and they have their own place on the golf de sur, we got chatting and they asked us to come over for a drink at the wild geese, so we caught the bus from los cris one night and went over, we got off the bus just in time to see a load of tumbleweed blowing down the road, we never saw another soul until we bumped into the only pr they have there, we had one drink in the wild geese while waiting to see the couple we had met on the plane, but they didn't show and the barman said he didn't know where they where, so we got back on the bus and back to civilisation, was it just a one off or is it always like that there????

Bit too up-market for you then, no tattoos, no football shirts and no copies of the Sun.

Exclusive innit, others on here live there too I believe. And the local council painted nice arrows on the road so we know what side to drive on. Although I think that maybe because a lot of Irish peeps live there too.

aint got a problem with irish peeps, we as a nation have treated them badly and would not blame them for hating the brits but that was ages ago and we should move on and not pay the price for our forefathers, i have great respect for any nation that has had to suffer our rule

I don't think anyone here has a problem with the Irish Marbro8 ( I think I'll just call you M8 from now on). Its just Kev, Vince and Reg seem to take great delight in trying to wind me up. They resort to insults cos they cant handle my intelligence

i have missed kev and reggie on the other forum and love them both dearly but i still have my own opinions and i have met some lovely irish people in my time from both southern and northern island, and in fact met a lovely girl from ballymoney a few years ago in the rovers return in las americas, she and her hubby run a golf course and can not get pork scratchings over there so i send a large package over a couple of times a year, i wish i could set up a business doing it i could make a killing
