Dermo, try clearing your browsing history. Go to "Tools">"Clear recent history", make sure that "Browsing & download", "Form & search" and "Cookies" & "Cache" are ticked. For "Time range to clear" click today on the drop down menu. Then try and log in again. If that doesn't do it, try re-booting the pc.
Edit: What version of Firefox are you on? Go to "Help">"About Firefox" it tells you in there. It should be 17.0.1 if you're on the latest version. Update if it isn't.

Not recently pal, I was at badminton from 6-8pm and I've done nothing since. Look at this...

That toolbar has disappeared Cam!! And when I click a smiley, it doesn't "insert" into the reply!!!!!!

Re: Firefox gone funny
That's the "Post reply" editor D, not the "Quick Reply". You don't get all the buttons on the "quick reply". Checking the smileys... ...seems OK. Is everyone else OK?

No, I don't have ANY of those options in either "Quick reply" or "Post reply". Also, the sun loungers on the beach have disappeared. And when did we get a "chatbox"?

I cleared the cookies Cam and everything seems to be back to normal. Strange that. I don't know if the latest version of C Cleaner didn't do something weird to my Firefox. Btw, when did we get a chatbox and whats it for?

Go into homepage and scroll down to bottom and sign in, I'll talk to you there. It's a bit like Skype, we can all post at once really.

Is everything hunkydory again then D, or are the smileys still giving you grief?
