Beautiful day today so went for a walk up Flowerdale to see the falls.
Start of walk...
Flowerdale House, owned by McKenzie of Gairloch, 17th Laird of Gairloch.
Halfway up Mermaid shifted an old fallen tree for me...
Getting higher...
Flowerdale falls.
For a view like this, it's well worth the climb...

That is because Cam has just disappeared over the edge.
Strong ole bird though, look at the way she collects logs for the fire.
Someone better tell her why she has not found any treasure yet, "yer motors fallen off that metal detector"

I did enjoy the walk and if I know he is taking my photo I pose. He does catch me out sometimes and I don't always like the result lol.

Isle of Skye could be La Gomera then, on a different latitude. Cant see any boats out there, all moored up in the marinas probably. Bit like where mine is really, only about three of us ever venture out. Mine has done about 250 nautical miles this year so far, high mileage then!

I'd love a motor home but they're way too pricey for me Reg.
I'm like you now Gypsy, tenting's too rough. I like my comforts now.

Those bloody motorhomes cost a fortune to rent ( between 700-900 a week!!!!) And you have diesel on top of that, you can't have a few drinks without worrying about driving the next day, you have to drive, you are living on top of each other, you have to find campsites for electricity, emptying toilets etc, if someone farts, you can't get away from it, ( the same applies for having a bum syrup), it's impossible to get a parking space, you're charged a fortune going through tolls, and a lot of them are plain ugly!
