Placeres and Tripadvisor

Had a good laugh at a recent review on Tripadvisor for Placeres Restaurant allegedly submitted by a Carol W. But then again is it really a review of Placeres or just another sad attempt of ‘blowing their own trumpet’. Once again such vomit invoking over the top drivel and to make matters worse the spelling mistakes which reminds me of how a certain fat bas**rd attempts to show their prowess of the English language. Pathetic and pitiful!!

Don´t knock it until you have tried it. Seems that out of 101 reviewers on TA only 3 were disappointed. Bet a lot of places would like that sort of feedback.

As for spelling mistakes yes there were a few and they were consistent many people write ect instead of etc and end a word with double ll when it should be a single, but who knows the ladies first language may not be English.

I really object to you coming on the forum and having a personal dig at members, I could remove your post (we have the power) but that is only my opinion - like those who write reviews.

Red Queen will be publishing a new review on Placeres on 17th, so if you don´t want to read anything nice, then don´t look in.

Just shows Gypsy, we are a free speech forum but if he goes too far, dump him.

You're the second person to say dump him but I would much prefer readers to see how pathetic this one-man feud is especially when it drags innocent parties like restaurants into what originally seemed to stem from a disagreement about a housing complex.

Hello members and friends, it's quite obvious this post is yet another derogatory attack on me. I had initialy intended not to reply to it as i do not wish to enter into another slanging match with Mr Truth Man, but he has accused a genuine Trip Adviser member of posting a spurious and false revue. Trip Adviser have a facility for any member to P.M. any member about their revue's, they do however have to provide and use their personal email address's which is why questions directed to spurious revues are rarely answered. when Adam G and Barry D posted two bad revues (one of them refering to me) they were both questioned but still remain unanswered. Adam G and Barry D are in my opinion one in the same person and those 2 negative and derogatory revues tarnished the good name and reputation of a hard working group of people who have strived to give their restaurant the wonderful reputation it now has. I have read the post by Carol W and i was of course delighted by it, Truth Man is clearly distressed that some people actualy believe me to be a compitant musician and is now accusing me of being Carol G, i am NOT and i did NOT write the revue myself, there is another appraisal of my work on this forum and on the PLACERES T/Adviser site by one of it's most respected members, perhaps he believes i wrote those too. I believe that this latest post has shown him for what he really is (in his own words) PATHETIC and PITYFULL. Regards to you all. Joel.

Well as mentioned he did message me - I couldn´t be arsed to reply. But I do think perhaps we should have a questionnaire that would-be members complete before we allow them to join.

a) Do you have a good sense of humour
b) Are you a vindictive bar steward who bears a grudge
c) Are you willing to dig deep and buy a round at a forum meet up
d) Are you our resident abuse reporter.
e) Will you be active in the forum on most days
f) Or are you just a 'lurker'

Wasting your time pleading for leniency I say hang him and give me the dog especially if it is a little scruffy one, what's another fart compared to what the two next to me are doing
