    Been too busy to watch news really but I did hear about his impending retirement. Said he was proud to play for Man Utd and England cos thats what he dreamed of as a kid. What a thoroughly nice bloke. David Beckham. 3318427985

    You may have guessed I am not a big football fan but I really like this guy and his family, he is a great ambassador for the UK. Wish we had more role models like him for the youngsters to look up to.

    He was born there but grew up in Chingford like me. About 4 miles North of Leytonstone. Hence he should have played for Leyton Orient. Or maybe Spurs or West Ham.
