Message for Minty: For a Mediterranean twist on it buy yourself a bottle of olive oil and stick a few cloves of garlic in there, leave in cupboard for a while then drizzle it over your bread. Works in Vodka too. Guaranteed space at the bar.

Deep fried garlic bread in batter for you Scots is the order, using the lard of course not veg oil like us Southern softies. Followed naturally by Mars bar in same.

Need to be pissed to eat microwave food, and garlic bread. Last week I had a kebab for the first time in years, seem to remember it was okay, maybe cos I was pissed.

Yip, but even my big hairy Slovakian mate Marek told me to give it up, and he was at the opposite end of a pool tale when he said it...

Southern fried chicken steaks from ASDA I'm having tonight, egg shaped they are. I have tried the Piri-piri ones and they were ok so I'm taking a chance.

Re: Culinary delight thread...
We met the Lincolnshire Farmers and I had a steak at Rosso sul Mare on Monday, it was nice but the service was rubbish and it was expensive - tonight don´t know meeting the tattooed Belgians on the front in Los Cris. So probably some tourist fodder. Ah well can´t have caviare ever day

No don´t do any Los Cris Chinese, now stick to the one in Chafiras, El Cine, rubbish, I don´t like plastic table cloths so out of those I would go BK, but we are meeting them the other end, in one of the newer places up from Arona Gran along the seafront. Can't say where it is whoever gets there first chooses. ........ Democracy rules.

Nooooooo. Heard someone say Big Ben was a S**t hole and the owner had halitosis. Never been in but just from the outside I hate those sort of places. We are meeting on the sea front side in about an hour.

Big Bens Met Howard in there, Maria had her teeth fixed and spent all her time preening herself,
