We're off out for some lunch. Plan is The Sweet Chestnut (Marston Breweries), but not if there's a wait. Thinking of a nice Sunday roast...

Valentines day today so I'm making Patsys favourite dinner. Cottage pie with cheese on top and peas. Thats as good as it gets, no cards or flowers or shite. Well not from me anyway.

Fish chips and peas tonight. Went to Lidl this afternoon and they are selling Brains faggots. I got some. I like faggots.

Re: Culinary delight thread...
This when it's cooked, honey and mint shoulder of lamb with roast carrot, onion and celery, there's a couple of cloves of garlic in there still in their skins which will be squished in to the gravey, plus steamed spring cabbage and champ...
Came across the honey and mint lamb by chance, it's out of a box,,, ASDA's fault, no lamb shanks one day, so I ask assistant do they have any in stock through the back, answer no, but he points me to boxed lamb shanks, had them, they were good,,, then some time later again no fresh lamb shanks so I go to get the boxed ones, none of them either but I see the honey and mint ones so go for it, yum,,, it says on box discard the cooking juices pre adding the honey and mint sauce, no, no, no, I drain it off and turn it in to gravey,,, 10/10 and it ain't finished cooking yet...
