Re: Culinary delight thread...
A meze is how taverna owners show customers what they serve, it comes from the starters right through to sweets ,just a small amount of each dish, most that I've had was 27 courses but that was in a pals place normally you would get 12 to 14 in a good place.
On the subject of food, has anyone tried Jacobs new crispy snacks? can't put the sour cream and chive ones down

Pork belly,,, never cooked I before myself but have had it in restaurants a couple of times, was watching Come Dine With Me the other day and someone done or so it was in my mind for the weekend,,, really it's a no no for Annie's diet issues but she loves cracking so hopefully once in a blue moon it ain't gonna do her any harm...
Having roast potatoes onions celery and carrots, plus white cabbage with butter and smokey bacon lardons pan fried with kale and garlic, the juices that come out the pork will be turned in to a mustard gravey to give it a bit of a kick...
Hic...

Bacon, mushroom, onion omelette with loads of ground black pepper, bit of salt and a good dash of dark soy sauce. Just grabbed whatever was in the fridge. Its cooking now so I'll let you know.
