You should be getting rain for the next 3 days Gypsy, a very big tropical storm brewed up near Cape Verde on Monday, it's now moved north and east but the tail end will affect the Canaries. Just updated this, it's now an official hurricane called Humberto and it's just north of Cape Verde, it is now predicted to head east into the mid-atlantic but you will get a little bit of it's tail end tomorrow.

Thanks Joel, I know it sounds silly to everyone in the UK but for those of us who haven´t seen rain for months it sounds lovely. Hope it is through the day and not at night as I could sleep through and miss it.

We didn´t only the tiniest of drizzle which lasted less than a minute and had finished by the time I got the camera. Heard it at around 7.00 but it was still dark. All gone by 8.15 and drying up. Now lovely and sunny and 27C

Hi 'Guys', hope you get the rain you want Gypsy, iv'e just looked on hurricane watch and 'Humberto' aint that far away so you should get the tail-end of the 90mph winds it is generating however it is moving east and pose's no real threat now. On a lighter note I am making a guest appearance on a show called Celebrity Super Spa tonite (10pm channel 5), it should 'hopefully' be funny, it certainly was a 'hoot' when we filmed it.
