I have "Notifcations (1)", showing on top right of page, have gone in to messages, nothing there, what does it mean ?

I have 13 and i dont have a clue, I did manage to get rid of them once, but i got some more so i dont bother now,

It will be an old message that needs deleted. Go into "Notifications" and there should be an "X" next to the message. Click it and it should disappear when you refresh page.

That 10 years makes all the difference. None of my parents even have a computer. Just as well really, I wouldnt want them to know I'm a sexist, racist, right wing bigot. Mind you I have a sneaking suspicion they might be too. 
My Mum has sold her house to a couple of gays so she probably likes them now, they keep bringing all their friends round to have a look. Guess what, its a cottage,,,,,,,,,,thatched roof too. One of them is 6'8" and keeps banging his head. Another lifestyle choice thats gonna haunt him then.
