Re: New Post button
That's the style it has JaBBa. Use the "View posts since last visit" link instead, it's better all round.(under "Groups" button on the Nav bar.)

Re: New Post button
As we all see different things with the New Post button, may I suggest it is removed and gives space for something else should we need it or just spread out what is already there.

Re: New Post button
I hope this works. All I did was click on the "view posts since last visit" link and copied the url, then redirected the "New Posts" button on the Nav Bar to the link. I'll check it later as I'm worried it won't update automatically.
JaBBa, you'll notice you're dealing with a bunch of amateurs here but we are enthusiastic and get on well with each other!

Re: New Post button
Nope. It won't work 'cos the "New Posts" button is a re-direct to "View posts since last visit" link.
Click on "Home" button and scroll down to "Today's Active Topics". Only way I'm afraid Minty...

Re: New Post button
Yes, I can, but that would only let you see that day's posts you may have missed. If you'd been on holiday for a week, you'd miss 6 days worth. Viewing posts since last visit lets you see those.Adam Mint wrote:Can you link the "New Post" button to "Today's Active Topics"...The Lone Ranger wrote:Nope. Re: New Post button
Point taken, just for new members/guests looking in, or when I log out in error, be good to have a simple way of looking back at what's been going on...

Re: New Post button
Yeah. I thought of the solution you mentioned last night and was about to implement it when I thought it through a bit further and realised it's limitations.

Re: New Post button
It's a simple enough task to re-direct the "New Posts" button to something else, it's finding a workable link that's the hard bit!

So you could redirect it to a porn site, so to speak...
