Re: New Post button
That "Todays Active Thread" on the home page, could that also be included alongside "View Posts Since Last Visit" etc, etc...

Re: New Post button
Know I go on a bit about this, but just think being able to see what's going on on one or two pages without having search around would make the forum more user friendly to new users/guests...

Re: New Post button
Absolutely right Minty. I've asked the question on the Forumotion "Help" forum. We'll see what comes up. It's do-able I'm sure, but it will need either HTML or Javascript I think. Don't worry, we'll get there eventually!Adam Mint wrote:Know I go on a bit about this, but just think being able to see what's going on on one or two pages without having search around would make the forum more user friendly to new users/guests...

I think we should have a "Reg" button, so every time he fixes something, we can thank him

Re: New Post button
The "Thank" button is the one thing that bugs me about Forumotion. They just will not put the system on that other forums have where the name of the "Thanker" shows underneath the post.
That's why I mucked about with the "Thumbs up" and "Likes" things for a while but it's not the same.

mmmm, getting there, just don't open the champaign yet, as PS says us, err,,, Addicts (hate the feckin term) are used to the "View posts since last visit" being the first option in the line, now its been replaced with "Todays active topics", that needs sorting, the old school wont like it, and again agreeing with PS, I got in about 00:30, (we got humped at pool so no celebrations) and I'm faced with about five posts, thought you feckin lot had died,,, can't the "Todays active topics" be set to show a rolling 24 hours...Perfectspecimen wrote:I keep hitting the wrong button now, only 3 posts so far today, all mine. Oh, and while were at it, why the little green triangle thing that takes you back to the top of the page, why the feck would I want to go back to the feckin top of the page when I've just worked my way to the feckin bottom, I want to go to the "View posts since last visit" button, so why aint it at the bottom at the page as well as the top...
Oh, and don't mention the "View next topic" button, its on drugs......
Constructive criticism, its the future...

Nope, the clue is in the word "todays".

Green triangle is the quickest way to get back to main Nav Bar...

Don't think he is bored as he has lots to do elsewhere. He was asked to change something, which he did.Gypsy wrote:Oops cant say I have noticed any of these changes if it ain't broke don't fix it - unless of course you are bored and have nowt to do
