No disrespect to those involved, but must the rescue service make a meal of everything, they've built a tent city within its own walled area, freeze the video at the end, I counted eleven or so tents/marquees, why...
Even relatives of those suspected of being trapped inside are complaining as to how long the emergency services are taking. Saw a picture taken on the morning after the event, hundreds of so called rescuers in hi-vis gear standing around doing absolutly nothing...

Blame game now, So dibble comes in through the roof and kills a load of people, They wont want any claims against them, No fire to me sounds like no fuel left Making a meal of it... 3561243520
Pilot never got chance to send a mayday call ?,
Bond that owns the helicopter knows all about keeping quiet after a crash, they have 1 a year dont they ?,
Even a simple car crash involving a police car gets the full investigation,
Be at least 2 years now before we hear anything,
One thing for sure it wont be dibble that gets the blame, Making a meal of it... 1498946960

That single story wall might fall on the rescuers Reg, you know, health and safety crap. Little chance of that happening anyway. I would be in there with a length of 4x4 to hold the roof up and get on with it, or a pole so the nurses can keep me entertained, must be plenty of booze going begging too. Making a meal of it... 1460810463

Bit confused, don't recall Alex throwing away taxpayers money on them oil rig workers who bring his precious black gold ashore when they were killed in a helecopter crash recently, but here he is prepaired to match whatever the public put in to the kitty with taxpayers money, and who's it going to, the relatives of those boozing in the pub, but wait a minute, he and his mob are anti booze, putting the price up, doing away with cheap booze promotions etc in Scotland, so how come he's suddenly wanting to throw cash in their direction, wouldn't be anything political would it, no, he'd never want to make political gain out of the death and grieving of others,,, would he...

Would the difference not be, oil workers = private company who pays compensation, whereas it was a police vehicle i.e. public service who'd pay the dollars?

There was a disaster in the Philipines lately and the Scottish government and loads of other governments and the British people all contributed millions of pounds ,quite rightly ,to try and help these poor people, now that our government has made a donation to try and help the victims and families of the CLUTHA disaster they stand accused by people like you of being political parasites , if you must make comments on such things at least be consistent, if we can't help our own then hell mind us

If countries like that fixed their politics out and spent their money on better things like housing that can stand the weather in the area, rather than shoes, they wouldn't need aid, oh, I am consistent...

To give another example, think it was up around Perth on the river Tay, developers wanted to build houses on a flood plain, for years council refused permission, developers argued plain haven't flooded for a hundred years or so, council gave in, brown envelopes must have been right size, houses are up a few years, then they get flooded out, do I feel sorry for the wankers who bought them, no, it was well enough documented the problems with the area, now who's paying, us, the taxpayer, last I read they were looking at flood defences for the area...

20000 houses built over here on flood plains during the boom. Making a meal of it... 1498946960  County Galway, where I live, has suffered a lot with flooding. They had to open up the unfinished motorway 4 years ago as this was the only road out of the city that was passable. People living 20 miles away had to take 80 mile diversion. Flood plain was the first thing I looked at when deciding where to my our site.
