Re: Wot? No British TV?
Hmmmm, very rude I thought it was. Probably from a rival TV channel supplier, drunk. Whole bit of this thread doesnt make sense now Reg. Personally I would have left it as it was as I'm sure peeps can make their own minds up and of course it would have stimulated a nice little 'debate', something I feel could be good for the footfall on here but I will probably get outvoted on that one.

If I hang a 12'6" dish off my balcony I'll get no sun and no view. Its a no brainer, I'll watch the tele in the pub.

Angus is, i suspect, a business rival to TV Tenerife, and while he is very welcome to plug his own services here, personal attacks on other members will not be tolerated, hence, the sentence "Any kind of banter slagging allowed. But anyone with personal attacks can feck right off." I can't even remember what he said tbh.

Some twonk who joined back in 2012 and made his first post yesterday obviously drunk, jealous and had both D and myself poised over the ban button.
If he wants to post and advertise his business then he is welcome to but not if he is going to post salacious comments about other members.

I was watching Farage and Clegg for a bit until my computer died, it doesnt like live streaming, or porn films, or Utube clips. Forage always reminds me of Mr Toad.

HP Compaq 6720s, bit old like me. Won it on ebay and picked it up from a fat bird in a Council house in Kings Lynn, think she must of put it under her jumper in PC World, I'll swear it was brand new. Well cheap it was. And never broken down. I always rest it on a rubber (eraser), keeps it cool.

Re: Wot? No British TV?
This is what I worked on in 1969 at IBM Greenford you typed onto tape which could be re-read and corrected if there were any mistakes. So I guess a forerunner of the PC
