Looking for a job in playa americas ! :)

Hi everyone, new too this!
I have decided too move to Tenerife with my partner, we are due to go beginning of june, however he has a job lined up but I don't. I was wondering if anyone could put me in the direction of anyone who needs workers.
I have experience in child care and learning disability care aswell as cleaning but I am happy to work in a bar or restaurant!

It would seem that our newbie hasn´t been back to check whether we could advise on jobs or not  so probably too late now as there is so little work on the island these will have been snapped up.

When a friend of mine had a bar/restaurant I did his recruitment, it was a nightmare.  You would ask for CVs or if they didn´t have one details of experience  to be sent by PM.  The majority I dismissed immediately because they would put all the info on an open forum so hadn't bothered to read or couldn't understand simple instructions.   


The remainder would be invited for interview and then half wouldn't bother to turn up and not let you know, others would want to change the hours or what the work involved.  Everyone moans about the lack of work but when it is offered they just can't be arsed to get off their butt and do it. Once in the job they would last a few weeks then some 'emergency' back in the UK would turn up, sick granny, burglary etc, they would bugger off and you would find out after YOU contact them to see why they are not at work. One who worked in the bar thought the owner was away and he caught them partying with their mates and drinking all his booze. Fired on the spot.  Must say I was only dealing with Brit ex-pats so dont know what the Canarian peoples work ethic is like, but the Brits I saw under these circumstances were bone idle.  The best was a Polish guy who would travel from Puerto de la Cruz every day to the south because he realised the worth of a job with a legal contract.   

the OAPS come here after they have worked all their lives to stay in the sun ..
but 90% of the ýoung ones ´´ here either are on the run ,drunks,or drunks on the run ...
I met a man who was a university graduate in hospitality (running bars hotel etc ) and i said had he thought of coming to tenerife and he said ´´NO - im a professional ´´ so along with the ´´how do you make a million in tenerife? ´´´answer ´´come here with two million ´´ 
anyway 2017 and they will not be popping over here anymore ...bognor is the futhest south they will be able to get a job ,,,
