Should the UK spent £M's on war? Empty Should the UK spent £M's on war?

Defence Secretary Michael Fallon says the UK's campaign against ISIS is likely to last for 2 - 3 years, 'a long haul!' British figher jets fly over Iraq

At the same time, Sir Bob Kerslake has warned that cuts are likely to last for 'maybe 5 more years.'

Isn't it time the £M's spent on wars was spent on UK citizens at home?

Bombing Iraq will not make the UK any safer, there are literally 1000's of EU born jihadists fighting in Iraq & Syria - every missile launched creates ever more who are willing to go and fight or stay at 'home' and fight!

We continue to cut our armed services to the core and bomb from distance areas of the world - all this does is create wealth for the arms industry & misery for civilians living in the UK and Iraq/Afganistan/Pakistan

That is an awful lot of money tied up there TV, so couldn´t it be better spent on the people who live in the relevant countries rather than sticking our noses into other countries business.  Or are we only doing it to those countries where we (aka the US) will benefit from Oil, gas line etc.

Ursula  von der Leyen defence minister of germany just went to KURDISTAN with €70,000,000
    worth of arms .....
i would not worry about the lazy people in the RAF ,the LUFTWAFFE is twice their size ,im sure the germans will get back in the habit of bombing again soon ,,,
