what i mean is, do you turn off the laptop several times a day and if so, are you logged out each time you turn it back on?

Does the forum log you out if you go onto a different site and then go back to it a minute/few minutes later ( without turning off the laptop)?

No, just have to visit another site then go back to forum and I'm logged out...
