Re: Norton 360 Anti Virus Protection...
Been looking at AVG downloads, coming up with various options, 2014 free download, 2014 free trial, 2015 free trial, went on a review site, people saying beware not to download the "free trial" offer opposed to the "free download", also sites offering downloads do not seem to be AVG sites, could someone provide a link to what I should be downloading...

AVG Free 2015 Click on the green "download now" button. DON'T CLICK ON THE PRO VERSION!! You have to pay or "upgrade" for that. I've scanned the download with my Bullguard and it's clean, so you're good to go.

Re: Norton 360 Anti Virus Protection...
That's what I clicked Cam, plus there were two other green boxes which said something like "Free Download", tried them as well, will try again tomorrow, plus what you've come up with Gypsy,,, why they make it so difficult, I need a one button fix, "Do you wamt it" PRESS YES,,, end off...

Re: Norton 360 Anti Virus Protection...
Had them all AVG the lot, I took the whole lot out a few years back and added Microsoft Security Essentials to all our computers and never had a problem since, oh yes and its free. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/security-essentials-download I mean windows is owned by microsoft so they should know what works and what doesnt.
When using UBUNTU instead of windows I use nothing, absolutely nothing is needed its secure enough.
Norton used to bog my cmputer right down, as soon as I got rid of it the speed came back

Re: Norton 360 Anti Virus Protection...
OK, just tried again to download the AVG security thing, it worked first time with Gypsys link...
Cam,,, Your Fired...
That said, as 3rd mentioned earlier it says I don't have firewall protection (I have to pay for that), so what does that mean...
OK Cam, I'll let you off this time, but sharpen up......

So when my Norton package runs out in a couple of weeks time do I set it the same way as Norton has, or will the AVG set up fix it out...
