It takes 7/8 min to climb down Gypsy, and about 15 minutes back up. In olden times they used to carry the currachs ( type of rowing boat, see photo) up and down cos there was very little room to store them at the pier

Ive said it before, Anybody caught doing that should be made to clean it off, Then if they do it again tattoo it on their heads, Something like Graffiti innit,

Banksi will be pleased, Sure a nice muriel like hilda ogdens is ok, but some of it yuk, We have a clean up team in headingley, because the students are at it all over,

Thats the wall of the pier where I wanted to catch the boat to go out to the island. Couldn't go in the end, Had only one day opportunity and sea was too rough. Going to do it before the year is out though!
